Alexis Glanz
Manager//Instrustor
Alexis began practicing yoga in 2010, she noticed immediately that the practice helped reduce anxiety, increased motivation, and induced healthier choices. It wasn’t long before she knew that she wanted to advance her yogic education and share that knowledge and passion with others. As it often does, life got in the way and delayed this dream. In 2021 she was able to realize this goal by completing her 200 hour teacher training with Be Hummingbird Yoga. Since then she has been teaching at established studios and our beautiful outdoor venues in and around Saint Petersburg. Alexis is an RYT200 with the Yoga Alliance, Yin Yoga certified and a certified Reiki practitioner. She strives to create classes that are accessible to every body and that inspire, nourish and challenge the mind and body.

Andrea Correia
St. Pete Beach Instructor
I am a RYT 500 and RCYT. I also hold restorative yoga, chair yoga, and yin yoga certifications. I’ve been teaching yoga for the past six years, and I have over 700 hours of teaching experience.
After more than 15 years in a fast-paced corporate career, motherhood brought me the urge to stop and revaluate my objectives in life. The birth of my son in 2012 made me rethink life priorities, and a resounding call to do something more meaningful to me emerged compellingly.
I’ve been practicing yoga enthusiastically since early 2000, and I found in yoga a path to bing my contribution to the world by helping people attain a calm and peaceful state of mind in a healthy and sound body.
In addition to her interest in yoga, Kelly loves the arts in all forms. You can find her working in art galleries and exploring her creative expressions through some of her hobbies, like pottery, watercolor, feng shui, collage, photography and writing. Continually exploring the inner and outer worlds, she appreciates study in the hermetic arts, psychology and astrology to name a few.

Jessica Tiedemann
St. Pete Beach & Gulfport Instructor
Since Jessica’s first experience with yoga she knew that her life was about to take a drastic turn. As she’s always been interested in personal development, yoga took it to a whole new level for her. She experienced an internal awakening which compelled her to learn, study and discover the benefits of a consistent yoga practice. Yoga quickly became a staple in her life and a “compliment to each day”. Allowing her to practice aligning her body, mind and soul, and finding ways to become grounded, balanced and uplifted. Jessica then had the burning desire to share what she had discovered in her own practice. In 2011, she completed her 200 hour teacher training in Phoenix, Arizona, under the guidance of late Astanga teacher, David Oliver and Sanskrit scholar, Cheryl Oliver.
“Holding abundant gratitude towards my breath; I have come to understand that it is what carries me through, bringing integrity to my own practice. This is what I try to relay to students in my class. By establishing true love of prana; life sustaining force and vital energy, I hope my students will be inspired to develop love of their own life and breath.”
With a strong influence of vinyasa yoga (breath and movement), and kundalini yoga, Jessica’s teachings are filled with breath and alignment based cues. She “holds the space” for and encourages each student to have their own practice and experience. “It doesn’t matter what brings each person to their mat or where they came from, only that they are there. Once you make it on your mat, the healing begins, and will continue with dedication and consistency. We are here together to honor our bodies, minds and spirits as one. Cultivating balance with-in and heightening our awareness in all of life’s aspects.”

Rhiannon Mayhugh
St. Pete Beach Instructor
Rhiannon began her yoga practice in 2005, while living in New York City. It was the perfect way to find calm and connect with the body in such a fast paced, frenetic environment. She decided to deepen her knowledge of yoga in 2009 by completing yoga teacher training (RYT200) in Sampoorna Yoga at Yogi Hari’s ashram in Miramar, FL. Soon after, she began graduate school and earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She then worked as researcher and mental health/professional development educator for Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. Through all of this, yoga remained an important part of Rhiannon’s life, providing a foundation for steadiness, calm, and physical health.
After moving to St Petersburg in 2020, she started practicing yoga at the Body Electric Yoga Company and completed her yoga teacher training (RYT200) with Sacred Jade Yoga, focusing on vinyasa flow and ashtanga yoga. She enjoys continuing to learn and integrate her interests in neuroscience, mental wellbeing, functional anatomy, and yoga. Even more, she LOVES sharing what she has learned and creating space for others to drop into that magical flow feeling of yoga.

Tere Terry
Owner
I began my love of movement since before I can remember, and in 2002 I was fortunate enough to discover ballroom dance. I became a professional dancer, competitor and teacher for the next 14 years in Sacramento and San Diego. After meeting my husband, we moved to New York and that is where I discovered yoga. I fell in love with this healing form of movement. Yoga quickly became more than the asanas, but a way of life. I received my 200 hour training with Dawn Stidd through Peaceful Warrior Yoga Studio in 2017, and that was just the beginning. Since then I have received my 50 hour Extensions Program Certification with CorePower, Yoga Wall Certified Level 1 and 2 with Jason Cull, Certified Breath Coach with Lucas Rockwood, and Certified Yin Yoga Teacher through Loka School of Yoga.

I aim to bring my love of yoga to my classes by creating a safe space for mindful movement, awareness and positivity.
